Along with the new movie coming out this August, Playmates has released a new line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures. The figures are based off the new movie designs and look pretty close to the movie. I only say pretty close because it appears that some of the areas that should be painted are not. It is a shame that these figures are not painted in more details. It is not clear if there will be another series released with the new movie designs.
It’s nice to see the new figures on the pegs at the stores but at what cost of quality? I really think Playmates needs to step up their game when it comes to producing these toys. I am sure most kids won’t care too much but some might. So what do you think of the new designs?
What I am more excited for is the new Lego Movie Ninja Turtles sets coming out. I really don’t think you can ever go wrong with Lego.
