Dreamwave was the short lived series that was supposed to do for the 2K3 cartoon (4kids series) what the Archie comics did with the 1987 cartoon. The Dreamwave series only lasted 7 issues after which it was canceled. Although the art was beautiful but the stories didn't deliver like they had in the past. While becoming harder to find I would occasionally see these in the bargain bins in local comic shops all around the area.
The first few issues follow the same storylines as the cartoon and then they start to take their own path. With the sudden cancellation it is a mystery where this series could have gone.
